This is terrible

Saw that today and I know that girl from some where, I think High School or middle school, cant seem to make it click. Sucks none the less, why people got to do the things they do is beyond me.

The thing is people get killed every day it seems in Houston, but we dont pay it much my mind as terrible as it may sound. We all become kinda desensitized (sp) to it, but whats really bugging me is, I know her from where, just cant figure out where. It really reminds you of the human aspect to it all, that the faces on the news were people and not just pictures on the t.v

I know what you mean about people not caring. The thing that set me off was the 2 year old girl that got ran over and killed a week or so ago. Its getting ridiculous around here. It really is sad.

I know this will sound insensitive but unfortunatly that is the circle of life. It is a shame though so many people a day are taken from us senselessy(sp) . It seems to me and the way I believe things are that now those that are gone are waiting for God's return, but I am not wanting to turn this into a religous forum. Soemtimes I really wonder if this place Earth is HELL and death is our release from this place, with all the bad, and misdeeds that go on. I am sorry everyday for families around the world that lose a loved one over ignorant acts of violence but IMO it is God's way and as much as we do not understand it happens for a reason. I am sorry for the loss of a loved one and a friend be it distant or close. All I can say is to those who believe just pray for a better day and for those who wrong the good people in this world. It may be made fun of what I am about to say but it is what it is. We all here may not agree, get along or just not like but try and respect and love each other and do your little part to help this world be a better place. There is so much bad maybe a little good will go a long way.

Heck while you're at it take your shoes off and point your toes at the illegals and MS13 gang members from Cental America, they have also contributed greatly to Houston's rise in violence.

Yeah, thats where I went. No one deserves to die like that acept the people who killed them, I'm glad who ever did it when they get caught will face the death penalty, no rehibiliation in people like that

**** Neil that's awful.
I agree everyone gets used to what they do on a daily basis and forgets that those are people too, just like us. In reality though pretty much everyone is only a couple people or friends of a friend off, and its all closer to us than we think. I know I used to be like that a lot until this lady that was a customer at my old glass art gallery got murdered by her husband. He didn't stop there, it was true hollywood type mayhem. But it made me think - damn I knew her...and then you realize it's not just people on tv...its me and you, or someone you know or I know, if we are in the wrong place at the wrong time, or if we make a different decision at some point.
But yeah..totally no good.
