I have seen the pictures its very slick. I just thank god that dps is not alowed to use slick tops anymore (edited to ad) to run radar.

I like that you a Tahoe is in the background in the first picture, so that I can say this
" look now the cops have a car that weighs as much as their SUV's!!!" The charger cop cars dont scare me, they are gonna be just as slow as the crown vics were, and knowing dodge, they will probably break something before the end of a high speed chase.

I wonder why DPS and depts like HPD still paint their cars in weird colors or hoods white like that, especially for road patrol duty. If I were in charge of designing cop cars for traffic duty, they would be 'normal' colored cars and not attract attention. Put all of the lights in the grille and windows, minimal exterior markings.

just a guess, but all those lights and stuff are easy to buy so any crook could just deck out there car and pull over some unsuspecting person. already happens but that would make it even easier for them.

DPS cant do that by law. Some congressman got a ticket from an unmarked DPS car and now they must be marked with a lightbar. There are some unmarked but they are for Sgts and up and they can not pull you over for just speeding. although they can pull you over.

Could the front wheel gap be any bigger? I guess that's for gettin' through all those floods down in Houston.

There are 2 unmarkeds that do speed patrol on I35 here in Waco. A gold Chevy Impala, and a black Dodge Intrepid. No external signs. Just really dark tint. I've seen 'em both on multiple occasions, pull over people who zoomed past me. Don't know what department they're with.

im actually glad the cops got the new charger, the impala they were given or the dodge intrepid was just a pitiful excuse for a patrol car.

They have one in Katy already it's all silver with hidden lights. Looks pimp for a cop car, but I'd be pissed if i got pulled over by it.
