Big Race tomorrow at HRP! I cant wait. It is going to be a blast! I will be racing for the young guns.

Race was canceled today. One of the drivers had an accident and passed away from his injuries during the first time trial runs.
The Young Guns vs. OFC race stuff will be at the next scheduled 1/4 mile race which is in early Sept. as of right now. But none of that matters really right now.

Yeah it was a sad day. It sure makes you think. It could have been any one of us racers. He had all of his safety equipment and was a veteran racer. It was a freak incident that cost him his life. The details will be released soon.

RACER ROCKY KEYES KILLED IN TOP END CRASH AT HRP
LONG TIME RACER ROCKY KEYES LOST HIS LIFE TODAY AFTER A TOP END CRASH AT HOUSTON RACEWAY PARK. DETAILS ARE NOT KNOWN AT THIS TIME, BUT HE PASSED AT THE TRACK. I' VE KNOWN ROCKY FOR MANY YEARS AS A BRACKET RACER IN THE 70'S AND A SUPER CLASS RACER. ROCKY WAS LIKED AND WELL KNOWN FOR HIS UNIQUE COBRA SUPER COMP ROADSTER, HE WILL BE MISSED..
