[Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt]
A person who makes unecessary modifications to their economy sedan (mostly import cars from japan hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are
Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
Lots of after-market company stickers they saw on cars in the Fast & Furious
Cold Air Intake- a tube that feeds cold air to their high performance hamsters.
Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, Mitsubishi Eclipses, Toyota Camrys, Corollas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that there are many high performance import cars as well that are designed to go fast that are often mislabeled as "rice". Such cars as supras, skylines, wrx', NSX, Evo IV, etc.. fall into this category. Unfortunately, in today's world cars like this still must be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Any combo of 4 or more of the items below classifies the car as rice.
Huge spoiler
Neon glow underneath (street glow)
Many meaningless stickers
Japanese writing of any kind
Racing stripes
Silly-*** body kit
Lowered too far
More than one exhaust (that came with only 1 stock)
Huge stereo
The ricer attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles. (example: mexican=mini trucks; african americans=escalades; etc..) These crackers are also known to talk a lot of **** about their cars too. The best place to see a ricer is in his native habitat, any mall parking lot.

Just one other thing to add.....It's the attitude they portray as well....Thinking they are king of all cause they can run 14 secs, or think that they can beat a Stang or SS, Z06 or WS6 at any time and come up with a million and one excuses why they didnt win......IE: My AC was on, or I had the radio up to loud, My window was open.....

Ouch!! You guys are hard on Ricers. Yea I agree with yall about the cockyness of all the little ***** running around tryin 2 be cool in their ricers. The only reason they act like this is due to their intimidation of your fast cars. Me and a few friends sat down and decided the type R emblem adds about 15 hp. Rotflmao 
But im guilty of ricage also, as I just went a bought a 05 STi so I could keep all the miles off my WS-6. If your ever in Austin halla @ me. My plates read WEAZ1 on my STi and WEAZ2 on my WS-6. PEACE.

Luck of tha draw... Thx for tha reassurance, I get harassed by ricers all tha dam time in tha STi. I cant even change lanes 1/2 tha time due to 1 of them trying 2 race me.
