People with a street bike and an f-body
Hey guys, I am buying a bike on friday, and was wondering if you like it a lot better now that you have both. What I am asking pretty much is it really worth the cash for the bike or do you think you should have spent that money modding your car??

Its fun having both, I can either go out with my car buddies cruising or I can get together with my bike buddies and have some fun.
As far as the "save the cash and mod the car" you could but the bike will be faster, more reliable, and better gas mileage. Find another vehicle that can run 10's and get 42 miles to the gallon.

I would get the bike, has a lot higher resale value compaired to mods that won't come close. The bike is faster hands down, and will be a lot more fun. If I had to choose between my bike and car the 04 CTSV would be gone. I really like the bike and would not give it up for anything. Sure it is dangerous but what isn't now days, just leaving the house is dangerous....

Agreed, youll end up in phases, but the bike is only going to make your car feel slow, really slow. A bike is great to have to go out and relax. Its always nice to have a change. Good luck.

I want a bike so bad I can taste it. Once I get my land sold I may try to track down a nice used one, probably a 750 Gixxer. It'd help out with the gas going to work every day.

I love having both, nuthin like leaning your bike in a corner or slap the throttle back and hold on for dear life but its true it does make your car feel slow after you have ridin.

Bike definately worth it for me. I use it as my commuter as well. Car usually comes out on Fridays and weekend. I use to be able the choose from 3 bikes but not anymore. As performance goes, well my ninja would bring the front wheel up even at 110+. That bitch is bad, as well as GSXR-1000. O yeah, and also my bike saves me some cash on gas alone.

There's nothing like going out on a Saturday afternoon and hitting up the twisties. My car TA usually gets driven about once a week because I ride the bike so much.
