I checked out auto trader and thats a better deal than any other cobras i found.
The cheapest one that I found was $22,995 with 42000 miles on it.

For the mileage, that not bad. 22k sound more reasonable if it hasn't been run to the ground.

yeah i got to drive it and it was pretty quick only thing that worries me check engine light was on so i would have to find out why before i would even consider it, the salesman said it was prolly because of the modifications made to it, but i didnt put to much faith in that, ill look a little further into this see what i can turn up.... one thing i know the LT1 might be up for sale before to long would like to get a LS1 but this might be to good a deal to turn down possibly

thats up there a little bit in price range, it would have to be a C5 zo6, if i was going to do the 408 build in a f-body yeah i could prolly get the z06 for that price but for the price of the terminator and then do a few mods and be pushing mid 400's at the wheels (its already modded some so it might already be close anyway) would be hard to beat for that price .... like i said im gonna go back up there monday and to my bank and see what i can work out.

Gonna put up a for sale add in the FS section see what i can generate after i talk to the dealership and bank and see if i can get it or not.

this is kinda wierd, i am a diehard F-body fan and i am actually serioulsy considering getting this cobra, its the only stang i would ever own but still, i told myself i would never sell my LT1 TA and im about to do it to get a cobra, its kinda wierd. Its all good though. Once i finish my mech engineering school ill just have to buy a Z06 and another LT1 thats the same color as mine

Yeah I saw that red cobra at the dealership and its nice. I am with you, the only reason I would sell my car would be for 03-04 cobra, does things are fast. I think that's really a good price. I know someone that paid around 26K and it had a little more miles. He got his from dallas.

I haven't been back in town for 2 hours and I already heard that car had a bolt in bar and JB-weld on something, I already forgot. Hopefully the light is on cause of an off-road h pipe or something like that. I always hate it when **** sits on lots with the SES light on though, it tells me that they haven't run the car through the shop, or they just don't give a ****. Get it checked out for sure though if your interested (my **** won't hook up to it), but let me know what the codes are, I might be able to help you figure out whats wrong.

Hey Abe, is your car red?

Doesn't seem like it's that high.. I'd say 21-22 is about right for that car.

well im gonna go talk to the bank first and then to the dealership and see if its even worth pursuing financially, i would like to sell my car to someone on the boards more than anything else, but i will talk about trading it in but i wont get anything for it, maybe enough to pay the loan thats left on the engine rebuild 2k or so left .... but hopefully i can get a decent amount for it from them if i cant sell it
