Thumbs up LS1tech Regulars in Turbo Magazine

As you may recall last July we had the July Jam in DFW. Turnout was wicked and all of the contenders spun some crazy numbers. I had a photographer/writer from Turbo Magazine come out and cover the event. The article published in the January 07' edition of Turbo Magazine. A few LS1tech regulars were mentioned in the magazine, namely Dennis and Tiago. Turbo Magazine is known as an import magazine so it was pretty cool to have some domestic guys make it in there - with national circulation as well. Congrats for making it in!!!!! Here are some pics:

PS: Thanks to Dynosaur Performance (Ross) 817 238 8434 and www.pre-racing.com for hosting and sponsoring the event.

Very cool getting into the mag and all and probably an awesome event. Just seems kinda goofy basing a "competition" on a dyno-off IMO.

werd...it wouldve been nice if they hit the track, but most of them dont want to sacrifice their "street" car by putting cages in them, or breaking the **** out of something

We did. It was called Judgment Day and it happened last month. Alot of the cars that came out for the Jam put there cars on the track for the J Day event - some broke - some ran 8's and so on....

It would have taken more time than we had to make a dyno and track weekend for the July Jam.

You don't "need" a set of skinnies to hit the track, just go do it.

... and yes, dyno competitions are gay.

ok, I'll just go on 16" road huggers all the way

a slick tire without skinnies in the front is no fun on the top end
