Default The Grocery Getter goes 10.05@ 131.52 with a 1.29 60ft!!!

We made it out to HRP and the weather was nice the DA was heading toward the -900 range when we clicked off a 10.05 and backed it up with our personal best of 10.04 @ 131.52 mph. We were having trouble keeping the nose down, but with 60ft in the 1.2s on motor, I was afraid to change too many things.lol.

I have a few more tricks up my sleeve to get us in the 9s. This just confirmed it possible A little more tweaking and we are there!

The air was real good, but we've had better.

We did also have our first scare though. Sheila launched on her 3rd pass and just after the front tires landed she got loose and the car darted to the center of the track. She recovered it well, but she was shook up. The car usually goes straight like it's on a string, but she obviously hit something slick at about the 100ft mark.I tightened the shocks a bit and made her make another hit to get the bugs out of her system. She clicked off a 10.09 with a 1.30 60ft so she's back and ready to go again

All in all it was a great night!

I'll try to get some video and a few pics up later.

ROTFLMAO!!! She knows now Yeah we actually need the reality check. It reminded me of the night, from out of no where Z-Angel got loose. That shook us up pretty good.

It's just part of what we do. I keep a pretty close eye on the track and how she lines up for that very reason.

Looked like the front end might have still been in the air at the 60'? Maby it was better than a 1.29.

Wow! I did not know people were using 5.3 heads on bigger motors. I would not think they would work. Making nice power and backing it up with fast ETs.
