Default whistler mod help!!

anyone in san antonio have spare time this weekend to help me out on doing the whistler mod?? If u want $$, name the price and we could talk. I don't want 2 crack the lens

what is that? like drilling holes in the headlight so it whistles?

I've already done this twice. Just make sure you put them in the oven for about 25 minutes at 200 degrees and the silicone will separate like butter.

dude it wont crack, it's pretty simple just put it in the oven for 25 min at 200 degress and get a butter knife and slow go down the groove connecting the housing and the lens together. i was scared to do it as well, but it was a lot easier than i thought it would be. the hardest part was getting the freakin tape around the area where you dont want the paint

alright... what type of black spray paint did you use?? I seen some shiny on pics and some dull... of course, I want mine to come out shiny.

just go to autozone and get the dupli-color high temp gloss black spray paint, if you need anymore help feel free to pm me

here's a pic of the paint, you can also get the rtv silicon there too, it should be right behind you when your in the spray paint section

Here's a before/after from that site.



I'm getting a pair that have already been done for not much more than I'd pay for a pair of stockers. I'll slap those in and then redo my originals and probably resell them later on.
