i got a set of breslin split lock header bolts sitting around. They are the best header bolts you can get and you will never have to worry about them backing out. They are hard to find now a days, since Breslin went out of buisness.

pm me if you are interested.

Every header I ever put on needed bolts either specifically for headers (like that guy you PMed) or some grade 8 home depot specials (with washers and lock washers) - only get as long as you need to get a good seal, or you end up where you are now.

There are clearance issues with all bolts. Especially when trying to put a socket on the bolts themselves. This problem could be related to my manifold gaskets i use, which i have customized by adding the proper holes to fit. The holes are off center so this could be another issue i guess.

Thanks,
Chris

I used stock bolts and stock gaskets on my pacesetters with no issues.

sounds like the gaskets are turned around the wrong way if you are having alignment issues and a socket wont fit to begin with... go pick up a 10mm ratchet end wrench from VatoZone and you can thank me later for that one.... and while you are in there it may be a good idea to change the spark plugs and wires if you have the money bro...

plugs are being changed. The wires are those red wire taylors and they dont seem to be burned so i dont wanna down grade if i dont have to.
