Ok help me decide the fate of my $$
I have posted a few threads over this topic and am still in dismay about what to do. I want a reliable DD car that I can drive to my work and still look professional. But all the cars I have been looking at are pretty pricey. ( I have good taste ) Anyway let's see what you guys think. I will have about $7500 by the end of August saved.

If this is the car you truly want, then anything else won't be as enjoyable. Do it right the first time so you're not trying to sell some other car later to get the G35.
There's always the option on making the Formula faster though.

You need to find a good middle point, if that means to get you something that makes you happier (than your current car) while not wasting everything you have saved, then do it.
If you "fixed up" your current ride, would you really be that happy with it at the end of the day?

well I've been wanting to do an ls1 conversion but how much would that cost? and would the money used to convert it be better spent on making the lt1 a better running car.
don't get me wrong I LOVE my car, just that is is now going on 14 yrs old and is getting to where I am having just annoying noises, leaks, and bad mpg. If I can get my car to tip top shape, get better mpg, and give her a little more power than im up for it. Then the question stands to ask, what can $6500-7000 do for it?
