for 1996+ models we use the OBD port to read emission related codes thrown by the computer. If your car isn't extremely loud and isn't throwing a code (get rear o2's deleted!) it would pass like as if it was stock. If your car is loud, most likely the inspector will fail it because he will then look under the car and check for them

I used to get my stickers in the mail back when I lived in San Antonio. It was about 10 bucks more than going to the inspection joint but it passed every time!!! You guys need to make better friends...try talking to the guys that run the inspection joints in your area. Find a hole-in-the-wall mechanic shop that does inspections and bring his favorite beer. Damn you guys make this too hard.
BTW-Since I am military and stationed out of state, no inspections required HA!

haha 2 were arrested in mine, and i took my class at pearland, which i hear is a lot less strict than north houston rosland. i was 1 of about 6 ppl to pass, but they only took 20 ppl at a time. i was the only one there that passed it first try though.

Yep, thats why I always keep my Borla capped when I go in for inspection, car has cats and passes on the sniffer but I don't want it to bring any more attention to the car than need be. Thats one reason why Borlas are nice on F-cars, even with no cats and Long Tubes, if I ran the full plate, car wasnt louder than a stock car with a cat back.
