Default Looking for a job in Dallas areas

Well, my g/f is trying to talk me in to moving to Dallas so I need to find a job in the Dallas area. I am 27 and have a bachelors from A&M Corpus Christi. I worked in IT as an Systems Operator for 3 years and have been out of work since April (company downsized) have been managing a bar/bartending just to make money. Anyone know of anything in the Dallas area.

please describe what you did as 'Systems Operator'. my company's IT dept will be hiring soon, but I have a feeling you are overqualified for the position we will be posting.

As an operator, I ended up monitoring daily sales, and if something ended up going wrong I would push it further. Not really a "I fix Pc's guy" but if somehting was seriously wrong I would jump on the server terminal and work with the servers and push it to who needed to fix it, if it was me and so forth. Some times a simple reboot woudl fix it, but understanding why was exactly why i was there. Worked for an IBM shop that dealt with around 75 percent of the worlds lottery systems. Hopefully I can find something. Thanks for the replys.
