knocking noise when i hit the brakes?

knocking noise when i hit the brakes? Im at a loss of what it could be, but whenever i hit the brakes i hear a noticable knocking sound comming from the front right tire. i just had a tie rod changed, so i dunno if it was installed wrong or somethin.
any thoughts?
