Default N. Dallas/Garland Community colleges/Universitys

Hey guys I am possibly moving to the reserve at whiterock in the beginning of jan. I was wondering what are some good community colleges or universitys near by.

collin county community college district... I went to CCCCD- spring creek in plano(right next to north dallas). The entire school is in one building(kind of like a mall). Was nice in rainy/cold weather.

Theres also brookhaven. Seemed a little ghetto to me. not sure though, never had classes there.

what part of north dallas are you thinking about? depending on where your coming from, prob with morning traffic etc ~25-30min. with out traffic ~15min. Will prob have to take the tollway/george bush depending on where your coming from.

real colleges in the area... you got unt in denton... thats where i go...
tcu in fort worth, twu in denton, uta in arlington, utd in dallas, you got bunch of commmunity colleges... ccccd is a good one... from what i understand they just this year switched to collin college and are 4 year now... not sure which degress they offer yet though
plenty more... just do some sort of search online

you can also hit up richland it's right next to garland. Then there is utd in richardson when your ready for a university.

I attend UTD, the school is really going and has a ton of programs they offer.

how reasonable is utd? like price wise... and someone was saying that ccccd was 4 yr but I havent found that yet. thanks guys

UTD is the cheapest college in the UT system. Maybe $3500/12hr semester. Quad "C" is a 2/yr college.

not anymore... changed to collin college... not sure which 4 years they have but they do offer 4 year programs... started fall 07

My brother took a couple classes at brookhaven and got his Alpine head unit stolen out of his car. Pretty shitty area if you were to ask me. The campus is cool how it is spread out though.
