LMAO!

I understand some things are easier to get help with. Like a cam install, I do not think I would attempt it for my lack of knowledge and tools.

But....this is my 1st LS1 and in less than 3 months, I have changed the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, transmission fluid, 10 bolt fluid, and changed to synthetic oil. All of this done by myself with knowledge obtaned from installuniversity and this site. About to do a 255 fuel pump swap, LT's and ORY install, and LS6 intake with EGR and AIR delete. And no time is not a good answer cause I am in 10 hours at school and work 40-80 hours a week and still love to get dirty and learn something new.

Enough of my rant!! Tuneup things are cake! Good luck!

I have issue with spark plugs. I think this is the reason why i get bad gas mil.I get about 14mpg. LS1 6speed stock. Thats the main reason why i want to change spark plugs. car has 87,000. plus my air condition makes noise.

Why are you changing the pump out? You hardly make the power to require more fuel than your stock pump can deliver. I hope it's because it's going bad or something.

Ouch 14 mpg does suck! Although the plugs are not THAT hard.

Ah lol. My pump starts to whine at times when it feels like it. It may not need to be replaced yet but since a 255 Walbro can be found for $80 brand new, and I may be spraying down the road, thought it may be a good upgrade.

You can probably hear it whine when you are low on fuel, I noticed that on my 98 SS. But yeah, if you plan on putting a bottle on there, you may as well put one in if you got the urge.

It's an electric motor, there will be some whine....I guess it depends on if you hear it over the motor while running, or just when you turn the key before bumping the starter.

Are you still searching for a tune up???
I could use some extra money... Come on over.. I have cheap labor rates...
Especially if all we are doing is a tune up of the car... and not changing any hardware.
well other then what needs to be changed for a tune up.

Mine only has whined 2 times while it was hot and I had been driving some. My pump may be fine for now but I think it will need to be replaced soon! I do know that I replaced my fuel pump in an old import I had and the car ran like a dream afterwards, maybe the 255 will be worth 100 horsepower!
