Stage 2 PerformaBuilt Tranny FST.
hey i'm switching to a T-56, i'm just tired of these damn 4L60Es. they are just not for me. i've got a Stage 2 PerformaBuilt transmission for sale. baught it for 2200 ish, maybe a little bit more with stall and shipping idk. i'm hoping to maybe get roughly 1500 ish for it, it's being sent in right now to be rebuilt then i'm done with it. autos get better track times but i would rather have a more "somewhat" reliable 6 speed... this PerformaBuilt tranny has been great and shifts hard, and strong, quick downshit, ECT, plus Frank over at PB has been really good. it's had a refresher once before when i sent it in when a mechanic told me that my tranny was the problem and it wasn't and Frank said it looked like it hadn't even been installed. So if anybodys interested in tranny feel free to get in touch with me. i've got a few references around here to if anyone needs them. Thanks!

The previous owner of my Firehawk was supposibly having the same problems, so he switched from an A4 to an M6. Sometimes I wish it still had an A4 in it just because of the lower track times.

Another thing i forgot to mention about this tranny is it's only seen the track once for 3-4 runs. where i lived at before didn't have a track and closest one i think was 300 miles, so it didn't get a chance to ever be worn on the track really. also no one races besides ricers where i lived to and there's no need to waste gas and wear on engine against a 110 HP civic. rarely get on it unless it's in traffic and need to get ahead of someone.
