Default WTF is wrong w/ my car?

Ok, my car is wigging out on me, recently, and for no apparent reason, it started running like hell. The rpm's will drop dramatically (like 300-400 at idle ), and when I give it gas, it feels like its starved for fuel and bogging out, then it will kick in out of nowhere. For the most part it will do this after starting up the motor, and last for a min or two, then it will drive fine. I thought it might have been a fuel filter, so I replaced that, I have also been running some fuel injection cleaner through it, and it persists. Plugs also don't look to be fouled out. Anybody got any ideas as to what it could be?

if all else fails you can disconnect your O2's so they stay outta the loop see if it stutters... dont go riding around like this though.. it will take them off the problem list though

My sister had the same problem on her Explorer except if it sits still at idle for too long it will actually stall out. It was both the O2 sensors and filthy fuel system

Mine stalls if i let it sit w/o kinda pumping the gas. I will have the code checked tomorrow, and hopefully its the O2 sensors like you guys are thinking.

You have a [partially] burned wire; causing your SES light to blink (random misfire).... A lot of the times when people get headers put on.... a wire will touch the header and burn through it.

You can just replace the wire that is burnt... OR your o2's are bad.

Check the plug on the MAF and also make sure it's clean. I see you've got a K&N? Are you sure you didn't go psycho on the oil? A light coat is all it takes and only spray the side that faces down.

Take the MAF ends off and GENTLY CLEAN the tiny elements with alcohol and q-tips. They are CRAZY fragile, so be careful.

Flashing SES usually means multiple misfire though. Sounds like you just need to do some MAINTENANCE.

i wanna go with the burnt wires. i had something like that happen to me in a V6. wires looked fine, but upon very close inspection one was hard in a spot where the silicone was burn to the wire causing it to misfire. it idled like **** and would almost die, but if you gave it gas/kept it in higher RPMs it seemed to run fine.
