Default We finally quit SMOKING cigarrettes

well my wife and I finally quit the cigarrettes.
We have quit a bunch of times before...But ended up back at smoking.
This time will be permenant since the price of cigs. are crazy.

Plus that money could go into getting my car done quicker..

Congrats, I quit at New Year's and don't really have many urges anymore. I was smoking a little over a pack a day. Like said above, the things that you will be able to smell and taste will be great. Oh, and you will realize that smokers stink when around them.

I quit in November 1996, and I still get the urge every once in a while. I hope the urge eventually leaves you.

i hope the urge leaves me soon. love doing it, very relaxing. but in texas my 3 dollar pack of cigs cost 6 so i spend a good deal of money on these worthless things. i'll try dipping more so i can still get my nico but not get lung cancer and it lasts alot longer.

I need to quit since my dads side of the family seems to of all died from cancer.
LOL

so probably a good idea for me to give them up now for good.

but for a proven fact, lung cancer does not come from smoking.. well it can, but my aunt who has never smoked a cigarrette in her life,
has terminal lung cancer.. kimo, nothing is working for her...
so it sucks, but I say our air pollution is getting worse then smoking..

yeah it blows..

but as for untrue.. what is untrue..
I am going off of the study on asians that move to the USA..

They showed that overseas living in their home, lets say thailand, they get something like 15% of the population ends up with cancer...
But when they move to the US, lets say 2000 of them, then that number increases to like 63% of them will get cancer..

I dont remember where I seen this.. dateline.. 20/20.. something..
was about 2 months ago... that is the information i am going off of...
