Default No Mid-East Regional section??? or sponsors???

I know we must have a ton of members in VA/MD/DC area, so why no regional forum for us? Also I can't believe the closest sponsor to me is in PA. I need some work done on my car and would love to support our sponsors (as well as the desire to go to a shop that knows what they are doing and our members can vouch for), but it's not feasible to me to drive 100+ miles to get to a sponsor shop.

All I've found so far is EB3 Motorsports in Chantilly, and I doubt I'll be taking it there. They quoted me ~$900.00 on a header install(no reacharound included), so I shudder to think what they charge for their other services.

Anyone have any recommendations?

If we did a Mid-East section we'd need a South-Central section, Eastern Southwest section, North-Central section and so on and so forth....

Many members on this site mail order the parts and install them themselves. If the high installation prices bother you, then it's time to learn some mechanical skills

By that same rationale, since we have TX and a FL sections, shouldn't we also have NY, PA, ME, NH, NM, OR, WA, GA, UT, MI, IL, etc etc sections?

I do have mechanic skills, but most of the time lack the free time and the proper/appropriate workspace to utilize these skills. Not all of us are blessed with <= 40 hr workweeks and 2 car garages.

I work two jobs (totaling about 70 hrs) and have a 1 car garage, and I manage to still make time to wrench on my 'bird. It's all about how bad you wanna do it.
