Collect your proof and show a detective at your local police department, see if you can spark their interest in nailing the bastard. Hell, some of 'em are hot-rodders and car lovers like us and wouldn't mind spending a lil' time to nail the bastard.

Just call the sheriff's department where the item is located and ask them. Google the phone number. You didnt really give enough info for me to be able to help more. Normally, a quick call from a member of law enforcement can get online places to give up info willingly. Otherwise, there are avenues the states attorney can take if he feels like taking the time to go after it.

I found the car on autotrader listed for 2820 in Indiana its a 110k mile ws6 i asked for the vin number and they said the car is now in Denver colorado and the price was right. Its sounded to good to be true. I would like to be able to give it to a local law enforcement but Im currently in Iraq and its kinda hard to talk to them with the time difference and distance. If anyone else wants to check it out just do a search on autotrader its not listed as a ws6 just under firebird. Thanks for the help so far.

I think this came up in another forum as well and found the seller was asking for shipping money up front for more than asking price of the car.
The best you can do at this point is to notify IC3 http://www.fbi.gov/majcases/fraud/internetschemes.htm especially since you are overseas.
