96 Z28 6sp Convertible SS clone in NY
Year: 1996
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $3800
Mileage: 141265
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NY
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has other engine
It's a Red 96 Z28 Camaro Convertible with a 6-speed manual transmission and the LT1 motor with grey leather interior in pretty good shape for being 17 years old no rips or tears. I bought this car from the south so there is zero rust even on the undercarriage. The previous owner was a GM mechanic at a dealer and I have receipts for a lot of maintenance he had done on the car including a genuine GM Optispark a few years ago. It has
- An aftermarket SS hood
- 98+ SS spoiler
- LT1 SS Ram Air airbox
- Pro 5.0 shifter with a leather Hurst ****
- Flowmaster exhaust (has a small leak when cold coming from the back near the muffler.
- Centerforce clutch
- SLP line lock
- Power everything: Windows (new motors), locks, keyless entry, CD player, tilt wheel, power top, fog lights, cruise control, power mirrors, power driver seat, rear window defroster, etc.
The car has chrome snowflakes on it in great shape with good tires on all four corners, the black convertible top is in good shape with the exception of the rear window, the previous owner stitched it back in (they tend to come unglued) but it doesnt effect sealing since its under the overhang, the bottom of the glass and sides are still fine.
I put a brand new radiator in the car last year and did a tune up (NGK TR55 plugs and new wires which is the worst job ever with stock manifolds in). The car also has a pushbutton start wired in for cool factor...or not so cool factor haha.
SO I would like $3800 for this car, its a good runner (not as fast as an LS1 which is what motivates this sale otherwise I would keep it because I love the way the car looks. The paint is in really great condition for being a 17 year old car, it will make someone happy to put the top down and go for a cruise. If anyone has questions feel free to ask, it's in storage inside a garage for the winter and never sees rain or snow.
Thanks for looking.
Matt P.

OK found and purchased my new car, buy this car for $3800 with the snowflakes and everything so I can put a nice cam in the new car, would also consider cash with partial trades of Cams/Pushrods/valvesprings/clutches/clutch hydraulics/TSP TD's/LS6 or FAST intake manifolds for LS1 cars. Let me know

Yes, the procharger is used but it will come with a clean bill of health from Procharger (I will ship it to Procharger and have them inspect and confirm everything is good). It will come with the headunit ($3800 new), 2 brackets (one stock aluminum and one steel aftermarket), 2 head pullies (3.8 and 5.0), one crank pulley, and a few bottles of procharger oil. Let me know if your interested and we can speak via PM instead of filling up your thread.

PM'd you
Also here is another picture of the front of the car the way it sits. (The scoop is "painted" with plasti-dip and can be peeled off with no harm to the original red paint if the new owner chooses, I wanted to see if I would like it black without having to make it permanent)
