Head turning 68 camaro,454,th400,12bolt,chicago!! PRICE DROP!
Year: 1968
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $14900
Mileage: 88000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IL
Color: Yellow
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
The car was painted about 5 years ago and it looks like they did new fenders, quaters, door skins and a really nice cowl fiberglass hood. I put on new bfg drag radial tires, the front tires have about 85% left and it sits on prostar wheels. I installed a new msd probillet distributor, new windsheild and back glass with trim, optima yellow top battery and it has newer front shocks.
Here is a list of highlights.
-Mild build 454 big block with a cam,750 holley double pumper, headers with dual flowmasters, performer rpm intake.
-Turbo 400 mild build with a 2700 stall.
12 bolt rear end with 342s,make it driveable on the highway.
This car looks, runs and drives great. It sounds like a million bucks and is very fun to cruise around. I dont have a stack of paper work that goes with the car, it is what you see. Just a great car with a clean title in hand from an honest long time ls1tech member.

That is a '67. Or a '68 that had fenders, quarters and a grill/turning bulbs swapped. '68 Camaro's had square turning bulbs in the grill, not round. They also had side marker lights in the fenders and quarter panels. It was a federal regulation for 1968. Nice car though regardless of the year!

No track times or dyno numbers. Its a mild 454 so probably a 13sec car. This isnt a race car just a sweet cruiser that sounds like a million bucks. As far as mileage, if I had to guess id say about 7-8 mpg. Its a 3 speed big block car from the 60s, not going to get good mileage at all.
