the story of the car, i bought it and it had a slight tick like most LS1s but this one stayed around longer than most and came and went at random points so i got a deal on a 6.0 and started to do the swap after the car started smoking and fouling #7s plug really bad, it made 364 on the dyno in that condition with the LS1... after pulling the motor i noticed the "knock" was the EGR tube rattling around in the header and theats also where my exhaust leak was coming from. but that didnt explain the smoking and plugs fouling. so i kept going with the swap, pulled the heads off and there it was, ringland gone off #7 from after inspecting the tune was WAY too much timing for a LS1 sub 40*. so it got the 6.0 and all of the cam, heads, pump and springs from the LS1. i think this car will make ~415 after being tunned if not more, im taking it to tune it next week.

got the motor swap buttoned up and running and wiped the dust off the car, i posted a few pics of the worst spots, mint interior (minus typical cracks in door panels that happen to 99% of Transams. had the front wheels off to show the brakes and big ol rotors (not LS1) the pic on the driver door is up close then a far away shot, when i bought the car i didnt even notice it and im pretty particular. the dents on the pass side quarter look like acorn dents and could be rolled out by hand by a paintless dent repair specialist really easy and cheap. the front fenders had grand sport stripes on them and the paint took to them a little and were removed before i bought it, but again unless your looking you wouldnt notice. other than that there are VERY FEW flaws, other than rock chips from being driven lol. ANY other pics that are needed i will get them. id love for someone to get this, get the paint buffed and drive the **** out of it!

got the tune dialed in tonight on the Dyno and tuned streetability, car drives like stock til you hammer it, it made 401/408 in 70% humidity running at 190* timing is set low at 26* so with a LS6 intake this car will make in the 430s i think, and maybe a better set of headers. 401/108 through a stock throttle body, LS1 intake and Mid lenghts... longtubes, a ls6 intake and more injector and you have a 430 HP car here... i would do it but i dont want to spend any more cash for a while. its either sell this or my Busa... no contest there.
