I havent been on here in awhile. I used ls1tech to get a lot of my knowledge while piecing the rx7 together.
I'm an active member over on Norotors (blakes awesome forum) and I was with them before the move to norotors.

I love these swaps... Just wondering, how hard is it to put the a/c back onto one of these conversions? It seems like every-time I see an RX7 LS1 it doesn't have A/C. Is their no room for it? Also, how strong are the rear ends in these cars? Thanks.....

Thank you very much!
I do have some. How do I post them directly to the forum?!
When I first started doing the build, people were having issues getting the car to properly cool with the AC set. There is room for it, I think it's cleaner without but that would be with pretty much any car. I believe there is a guy on NOROTORS with a LS1, big turbo, AC car. He probably has powersteering too. Now, a lot more guys have it, especially the wid west guys and down south. There were trial and error threads and there is a few definite ways to do it. I know a few people build the AC set ups for specific chassis.
I was against it from the beginning because I never planned to Daily Drive it.
The turbo2 rear holds up very well. Mine is still smooth, no noises, clunks or whines.
The factory NA rears are garbage.
They make 8.8 straight axle set ups and a guy from NOROTORS sells a cradle set up to keep the independent rear suspension.
No thank you burton. I was never a big fan of the new GTOs and I really would like cash to pay off some bills.
