Default LSX 1991 Camaro- Pro Touring

Year: 1991
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $14995
Mileage: 9500
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): GA
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Up for sale is a beautiful 1991 Camaro Z28. If you want to own a fun car, this is it. The entire drivetrain is rebuilt and ready to go. The Corvette LS1 engine was rebuilt by a ASE Mechaninc and the 6 speed manual T56 transmission was rebuilt by Southern Gear Transmission and is still under warranty. The car has only 10,000 Miles since the motor and transmission swap. This LS1 has a nice cam, longtube headers, and 4.10 gears, so it will fly. It sounds MEAN with the dual electric cutouts as well. It has roughly 430 horsepower at the wheels. See further modifications below. It is a great car that I trust. It was built to be an ultimate street car that could be daily driven aswell as taken on long road trips.

The body of this car is great without any dents or rust. It is factory a respray, Brilliant Red, a relativley rare color for Z28's.

The car has a fully functioning dash out of a 2002 Trans Am. The dash was upholstered in leather with dark red stitching that gives it a modern touch. It has leather racing seats and leather rear seats along with new carpet.

The car drives great, and I have a clean title in hand. Clean Carfax.

I am selling it to buy a newer Corvette. Will trade for C5, or partial trade for c6.

I am asking 14,995. Call me at

I made 420ish on two different dynos with an ms4, lts, and bolt ons. With a manual and factory rear that isn't unrealistic. Especially if the motor included an ls6 intake already. He didn't mention that or if there was any work on the heads which would help also. Sharp car! Clean 3rd gen and probably surprises a few people.

LS1 intake....at least in the picture. That number does seem high. Any read out is possible with a dyno.

I do not know the exact hp numbers, that's why I said roughly 430 to the wheels.Ron at Vengeance Racing told me that it would definitely have over 400 at the wheels with their cam in my application. The car can put down anywhere between 400-450 to the wheels. Many other members with the same cam in similiar applications have put down Similiar numbers.

The car has never been road coursed or auto crossed.

AC can be added fairly easy using a vintage air setup.

Thanks for the kind words 01ss. It's always fun to pull into car shows and have the crowd follow you as you find a parking spot, since it "didn't sound like a 305".

Do you have any documentation on the motor rebuild? I take it it has a 10-bolt in the rear as well?

Also noticed on the photobucket you had a supercharger present? Was that just a test fit of what if?
