No offense OP, but that price is pretty high. You may be in no hurry to move it, and that's fine, but the market for a stock low mile WS6 is more around the $15,000 to $16,000 range, given the excellent condition it's in. Even then, that's well above the blue book, but no bank is going to loan anyone that amount anyway on a 2001 car.

No offense taken. I am not in a hurry to sell it at all. I don't figure that the person who buys this will be getting a bank loan but you never know. I based my price off what I am seeing on the ol' interweb. The color is very hard to find and someone will love it.

Credit unions loan on these cars all day if you have good credit...my personal credit union considered my 21k mile 2001 ws6 a classic and gave me a 15,500 dollar loan someone will be able to finance it... glws

I agree. I wasn't saying the price isn't fair or you couldn't get a loan (With good enough credit and a good bank relationship you could easily), I was just saying that it was in perfection condition, I want it and wish I could afford it.

Beautiful car! Price is OBO and I would realistically pay high high 17's cash for this car if I was in the market. It is only about a G off of the asking price which is common so I think that the asking price needs to be there after all of the lower offers.

Guys, please refrain from seller harassment regarding price. If it's priced too high then it will either come down or it'll remain for sale forever. If you are a seriously interested buyer you can certainly make an offer but otherwise the price is really of no concern to outside parties.
A "classic"? Wow, that is some wishful thinking on the part of your credit union!

Nice car OP. I paid 21k for my 18,000 mile 02 SOM WS6 just last year. It also had some mods I was interested in, so it made sense for me. I would have paid asking price for yours, and if the right buyer is in the market, they will too.
For any interested buyers that will need a loan, JJ Best will give you 80% or more of this asking price no problem. They'll even send an inspector out to go over the car prior to purchase.

Guys I know there were some that like the car but didn't want to spend this much. I stumbled across this one on ebay last night. Doesn't look as nice but less money. Pretty good buy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Fire...m=191805341928

Nice clean car! GLWS.
It's not unbelievable that slowwssix credit union considered his a classic.
I was able to insure my car under classic car insurance. It cut my insurance cost by about 60%.

I was too (even when the car was much younger in fact), but it doesn't mean that the car is actually a classic, just a limited use/show-type vehicle. Perhaps the definition of "classic" has become as meaningless/cloudy/subjective as the definition of "mint" these days.

I've cleaned up this thread to remove the most recent price-hassling posted by an uninterested party.
Not sure how much more clear I could be about this, DO NOT post just to hassle the seller about his price. It's of no concern to those not interested in buying the car. If the price is too high, it just simply won't sell. Very basic concept, I'm sure everyone understands this.
Any more unsolicited price hassling will lead to a vacation from the site.
