FINALLY... some quality pictures to save to my computer so I can erase the shitty ones I've had for like 2 years now. Damn those are sexy.... I'm loving the Black edition. And that LS7

I agree but they're not gonna make the mistake of putting the same amazing motor that's in a $100k+ super car into a mid-priced muscle car. Would be awesome but I think the fact that it'll have an LS7 is great.

I think an LS9 version of the camaro COULD work if they price it right at 40K. It may have the LS9 but will never perform like the ZR1

GM is not going to produce a Camaro with an LS7 or LS9. This is right from the site:
“This is a special example of what the end consumer is going to do with their Camaro. This is for the guy that wants a 427 Camaro like the old days, that is not afraid of voiding the warrantee.”
GM will never produce a Camaro that can out perform a Corvette.

I like the Sunoco or is it called the Donahue camaro. The blue one anyway. I would like to hear from GMMG. Does GMMG have any plans for the new Camaro? I also heard a while ago that Roush might have a upgrade package. Has anybody heard anything like that?

As posted in that link regarding the LS7:
Making of the Beast
The idea is to take a new V6 Camaro (or SS if your pocket allows) and rip the heart out of it for the LS7 power plant. GMPP marketing manager, Dr. Jamie Meyer says, “This is a special example of what the end consumer is going to do with their Camaro. This is for the guy that wants a 427 Camaro like the old days, that is not afraid of voiding the warrantee.” Putting the engine in the Camaro is easier then you imagine. Since all LS family engines bolt in the same, the Camaro makes it virtually a bolt-and-go affair. Dr. Meyer says, “You swap it in, re-calibrate the computer, of course you want to put a good intake and exhaust system on it and away you go with one awesome Camaro”. One item you want to take into consideration is the dry sump oiling system that is featured on the LS7 engine, that doesn’t come equipped on either the V6 or SS version. The transmission of choice on the LS7 is the Tremec 6060 six-speed transmission."
My question is, will the stock V6 computer be able to be recalibrated for a V8 (or will you need to change it?) and how much of the harness will need to be replaced, not to mention how will a change like this effect the dash and other on board systems? He makes it sound easy and I'd be all for something like that but my guess is it might be a little more envolved then we are led to believe. Not to mention the V6 trans would also have to be replaced. This is gonna add up FAST! But I suppose it would be BADASS when it was done
Thoughts anyone?
