Default What garage floor do you have?

I've convinced my parents into putting in a lift in their new house being built Now my dad and I are trying to figure out a good material for the garage floor that's durable, and when something spills on it it can be wiped up easily. random question i know, but just wondering what everyone uses.

I officially hate you now...
I would ask Will (02NBMWS6). His garage floor is coated with some kind of coating and it is water proof and spills wipe right up.

I'm also interested in knowing. Now that I own my own house and finally have a garage, I can actually do something at home and not at my parents' house.

I've looked into the kits that they sell at home depot and they seem just as good as the kits they sell online. They're probably more expensive but it seems like you can go more custom with the color. I just textured and painted the walls so that would be the only thing left to do other than a lift.

epoxy floors. but i dont think you can coat concrete for atleast a year after being poured, due to moisture.

I would go with Behr's 2-part epoxy kit at Home Depot. Each kit is good for a one car garage, so you will need 2 or 3 depending on how big of an area this is.

i've been looking those tiled floors. they would be great if one got messed up it can be replaced, but if you spill something it will probably go through the cracks and be a nightmare. im going to look into the epoxy a little bit more

I did our garage with epoxy coating and added the clear coat for extra protection and the shiny look. I've dragged a tranny on towels on it, spilled a lot of oil coolant you name it and wipes right off. I love it!

I did mine with U-Coat it, was easy to do and has held up well. You go on their website and it will help you with everything you need. Mine is black, I will take pics tomorrow and post them.
