Default Cylinder head milling...

Where can I get a set of LSx heads milled? I know it's not a complicated job, but I still want a reputable shop to do it. I have heard good things about QMP in LA.

I don't think they need a valve job (very low miles); just pressure tested, and slightly milled.

Do it yourself that's what I did with the set that's on my car. Very easy.

I'm going to get them pressure tested as well...maybe a valve job, so I'll get them milled at the same time.

I had my LS6 heads that were on my 427 C5R motor checked out by West Coast Cylinder Heads. Richard is a great guy and will take care of you. I was pleasantly surprised when I got my bill. He did all the things you mentioned aboved and welded 2 intake runners that had developed a few cracks and set them back up for a very reasonable price. Not too mention he also flowed them with and without my manifold. I was very happy working with him. Very honesty and reputable.

speedomotive is doing my block (deck mill, bore/hone, hone mains and cam bearings)
and wcch is doing my heads (full CNC, install seats valves guides, port match intake manifold).

talk to george at speedomotive or richard at wcch.

george and richard are both great guys and do awesome work. I believe CMS uses wcch?

so i guess whoever is closest to you!

QMP built the Gen1 SBC 383 stroker in my uncles Nova. Very well built, and a friend of mine is good friends with some of the guys at QMP.

WCCH is a good choice too.
