Monthly Job Search - Check In
Well guys... nothing new. Still looking for work, so if anyone knows anyone...
my past/present skills - I cropped and condensed from my resume
I'll take pretty much anything at this point. As long as it helps me pay rent next month.
thanks guys/gals

Remember the key is to reply to the add first, Now a days is first come first serve since so many people reply to the ads most get overlooked. Good luck on your job search, i know it stressful not having one.

When i was looking for a months ago i couldn't even get an interview. But one day i found a ad that just got posted on clist and got a call right away and was working the next day. Im not talking about they are going to hire the lest experienced just because he came fist, But if they already have a set experience level position available they will usally hire the person if he comes along.

Not sure if you have a careerbuilder profile. But thats where I applied for jobs everyday, and I got some calls from time to time. My current job is one that I just picked up from employer on careerbuilder. Good luck! Also if you looking for local places that are hiring, this website is pretty good too. Snagajob.com

Your best bet would be to fudge the data and dates and get a friend to cover for you when they check your employment history (you run a risk if you have posted your resume on a job board).
If some of the jobs were contract or temporary positions, I would notate that in your resume.
Lastly, add keywords from the ad you're responding to. It'll help your resume get recognized.
