Default Gun buy back this weekend

So I just saw on the news they will be doing a "No questions asked" gun buyback. This made me laugh that they are offering two options for gift cards. One of which is a Visa gift card, this is useful and would be great to have, the other is a Ralph's gift card, now why would I turn in a gun that I can shoot my food with it and not have to turn it in. Sorry just my broad sense of humor kinda made me laugh at that a little.

Since there has been a huge debate on other items, what do you all think about the right to bear arms?

Saw that on the news as well. I wonder if they will let me buy one of the guns from the buy back program.

I wonder that as well I want a colt 44 series 80. I got to use a series 70 at a firing range once and it felt great.

Jay La Suer for sheriff in SD he is very pro gun and so am I.

I should sit with a sign out front saying sell me your guns i will give you more money for them.

Do our tax dollars support this program?

Maybe we should go ask the cops that will be stationed there if we can buy them.

They're doing that **** out here in Chicago. They're offering a 100 dollar VISA gift card though. At this rate we're definitely going to be the murder capital this year. ****'s getting out of hand. Nobody is going to turn **** in. They don't wanna be caught snitching and ****.

My Dad was apart of one of these as a volunteer he said people turned in M1 Garands and M1 Carbines along with Colt 357's, 1911's, Glocks, SKS's even an AK. Thats just what he recognized.

there is another side to this story..... I love my guns too but some of them are a not worth $100. I couldnt sell them and never use them. So I could use the $100 to get some more .223 federal ammo at walmart.

So where should I bring my sign, chair, cooler, and cash to meet up with you for this? (halfway serious..if this was up here, I'd do that in a heart beat)

What if I have 3 .308's (M1A, Rem700SPS, Mauser98-rebuilt my way)

I have 2 AR's.. Man, they are fun, accurate and a lot cheaper to shoot. When I unload a 25rnd mag in my M1A, I dont hear the report of the rifle every time it fires, I hear a cash register chiming..
