Default Some Cool LT1 Dyno Numbers

Just got off the dyno with this wicked ride.

Car: 97 Camaro z28

engine:
385 ci 12.1:1 compression
Ported Lt4 heads
Ported Lt4 Intake
Comp 248-254 110 lsa

Computer system:
Efi Connection F-body Ls1 coversion harness kit (coils, cam sensor, crank sensor)

Drivetrain:
Coan Th400 reverse manual valve body w/ T-Brake, Coan 5k stall converter
spooled 12 bolt 4.10's

we didnt build the motor, nor did we spec the heads or cam, but it was done nicely and makes great power considering its a lt1 through a power sucking driveline...

tune in 1 Bar SD open loop (race car), AFR 12.85:1 , timing a conservative 30*, tuned on pump 91

Are these final numbers? Graphs look great! I think MS will be very happy piloting this down the track now

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked - this car should really be a blast to drive now.

Thanks, Ryne.

Impressive the LT4 heads are making that kind of power.

They are 54 cc milled GM LT4's, 977 springs, ti retainers, stainless Comp 1.6 RR, ported by Advanced Induction, with a cam specified by them to match the combo. Flow is just under 300 cfm at 0.650" lift.

Did Ryne spec it out for you?

I know when I had Ryne spec mine out he kept trying to get me to go bigger and I had him back off a little. Luckly he went with a 111LSA instead of the 112LSA I wanted. Now I wish I would have listened to him. You live and learn. But I do love the the sound of teh cam and it pulls so hard after 3K. I have to say Ryne knows his cams.

Phil at Advanced Induction specified it. Someone in NC ground it.

Those are badass numbers Michael! Congrats. That thing is making more power now than as a 6spd!

I can't wait to see your track times.

My LS3 made the numbers in my signature and is on the way home next week. Hope to install it soon and finish up the fuel system.

thanks for the clarification... by the way it peaks and carries the power i was thinking it was advanced quite a bit. valves are 2.00 and 1.56? I'm on a 105+0 lsa, but our intake VEs are real close, I'm curious how much the overlap is worth...

its hard to tell where the actual "peak" is with a 5k stall converter, it kind of blurs the peaks ...

Happy to see the car is up and running, Mike! Looks like it should run pretty well.
