Default It Was Time for a Different Look

Well I thought the car needed a slightly different look so, I powdercoated the wheels black and painted my brake calipers red with the brackets silver. I think it gives the car a different but meaner look. You can see my avatar for the "before" look.

Im not usually a fan but it looks real good. I would defiantly tint the windows. Tinted windows set any car off, especially a black car!

Thanks guys. At first I wasnt sure how it was gonna look so I went with a gloss black to match with the car better. I want to tint the windows but I dont want to give the cops a chicken **** reason to pull me over, very tempting though.

I would have preferred a semi-gloss over gloss black, but it does look good.
I thought the calipers already came red?

Only the Z06 had red calipers. Reg C5's were a natural grey finish. Same calipers different colors. $10 brake paint kit vs. $450 Z06 calipers so I took the kit.

Then just go legal. I tinted my parents c6 for them and went 35 on all the way around, and it still looks good. Plus, it helps save the interior from sun baking, uv, and gives overall lower temperatures inside. It's well worth it without the looks aspect.
