Default 1970 ss ls6

Well, we finally fixed some of the outstanding items on our 1970 SS LS6 build - some minor items, and one not so minor item. The car has the correct battery now, and a restored original dash. Some of the little things were fixing a leak, a rattle, aligning a stubborn passenger window, among a few other things.

Enjoying the car now - amazing how many looks this gets on the street and at shows, and how many people who know what this car actually is.

-Michael.

Shant you never grew up man.. lol just teasing.

This is one sexy car man, I could google but for the sake of asking the question, is that an M21 or M22 trans?

its true you never do grow up much , just the price of the toys go up

though some of us still play with our childhood hot wheels too

it could have had any of the muncies , depending on the rear gear for the M20

Makes sense, I know camaro's not too keen on my chevelle knowledge.

So for the sake of furthering conversation, what final gears were available in the LS6 chevelles?

This has the M22 rock crusher trans, with a 3.31 rear gear.

Very nice and clean. Looking at the hills in the back ground, looks like you're in the I.E.
