we should have a meet up in so cal similar to gumball! meet at one place and rally to another place and so forth. for like 300-500 or 800miles in one day. whose in? spread the word. any muscle can join.

when? as soon as we get like 20 or so people to join in. as for the places to meet? don't know yet. up to all of us... so spread the word. i really think it would be super sick to see like 20 or so f-bodies, vettes, gto's and etc. dominating the free way doing ballets and cutting eachother and others on the road. you don't have to have an lsx to join this. you can have an '85 t/a or something and still join. i want us to all park somewhere, meet, talk, show and then start the rally and have like 2 or 3 other areas to stop and hang out and wait for the slow rally people and then on to the next area. its tottally up to you guys. any suggestions etc. is more than welcome...

im down for like a 300 mile run but anything that makes me fill up for gas is BAD

nice! 4 people so far! lets keep em coming and spread the word. we can make this really interesting. 300 miles sounds really decent for 24 hours. i'm stoked. lets gather more people. let me throw in an idea if i may and tell me what you think:

just for clean exciting fun:
25 cars
$5 per car
=$125

3 stops. (everyone must meet and wait for all cars at each stop, unless a car or cars break down then we can move on to the next spot and need not to wait for the "down" cars)
first one to the first stop gets $20
first one to the second stop gets $40
first one to the final stop gets $65

we will need to arrive at the stops at a certain time and we will only be at each spot, resting, meeting and waiting for the slow pokes for 30mins-1hr. if you get there early then you will have a long break. if you get to the stops past 30mins-1hr and we are not there anymore then you are automatically disqualified to win any money at all, but you are still definitely in the RALLY and must carry on (unless its past your curfew and moms callin your cell, only then can you turn around and go home! just kiddin) please stay in the rally and try to make your destination in time.

times for arrival at stops will be determined by mapquest.com

other cars who cant meet at the "opening meet" may meet us at our stops or the freeway and join the rally, but cars who do not come to the opening meet will not qualify for prize money. who cares about the money though? its not about that. its about cruising around and ripping off the road!

at every stop i will jot down your license plates to see whose still qualified for the money rally.




anyways this is just an idea guys. this is just a rough draft of the rules. YOU make the rules. feel free to throw your ideas in as well. if you think the money is a bad idea then we can ditch that idea. i just thought it would cause some sort of excitement in the rally.

and if some of your are for the money idea and some are not, thats okay. you dont HAVE to do the money thing. its just an option. or we can tottaly rule out the money idea. legally (I THINK!) we have to rule out any money of whatsoever OUT! instead who gets there first gets BRAGGING RIGHTS or NOT. getting there first is up to you! getting there first shouldn't and isn't the theme of this rally. but be safe and legally and only LEGALLY I HAVE TO SAY: STAY WITHIN THE SPEED LIMIT, THIS IS NOT A RACE OR ANYTHING CLOSE TO THE DEFINITION OF A "RACE". <-this legal needed to be posted. follow it and seriously: BE SAFE! don't be STUPID!

GM MUSCLE RALLY 2007? should that be the theme and name? should we include other muscles as well like dodge and ford etc.? no imports though (i mean they can tag along, but seriously can they even keep up? ha!) that would just kinda ruin the nice scenic parade of MUSCLE!

There's Already an Event like this that starts in sandiego and goes to palsprings then to LA, it's 400 to enter plus gas........

Your asking for alot of trouble, if you notice the Gumball rally goes through states with leniant vehicle codes where they just pay fines, but once they get past vegas and into california everyone obeys the speed limits.....CHP doesnt' care who you are or what you drive tehy will take your car and throw your *** in jail.

i never heard of that event in san diego. i don't think we'll get in trouble. i'm not promotic "racing" i clearly stated: obey the speed limits. anyways we will determine spots through pm. so we got like 5-6 people right now. lets keep this going. plus this is free!
