Phoenix area guys/gals come in... Just moved to Surprise... and I have some non-relavant questions to ask... 
what's a good Rock/Alternative radio station...
and I know there are lots of cameras on the streets out here.. I know the 101 loop has speed cameras. But I also heard the surface streets have cameras... are the surface street cameras speed cameras, or red light cameras?

The redlight cameras are everywhere here, in almost every city.They are easy to avoid.Slow down for yellow lights, if you dont have enough time.

Yup just as everyone said, most are red light camera. The ones on the 101 in Scottsdale are speed cameras. Where in Surprise do you live? I have a few buddies that live up in the litchfield/greenway area.

There's both out here. We have speed camera's and also intersection camera's. The intersection will catch all light violations and also catch speed if it happens to be catching a light violation. But there are lots of inconspicuous setups that get trailered in that have radar and camera's.
I've been hit for crossing late on a red light like 3-4 years ago from the intersection cameras. and I just got hit up with a speeding camera setup actually, 60 in a 35 right around my area, i went to traffic school though. It takes your face, plates, car..
97.9 is decent. CD's or otherwise f-t-w.

Satellite radio would be a good friend to you. The radio stations here are ok, but I'm pretty sure they all conspire to take 10 min commercial breaks at the same damn time.
96.9 is good if you like lighter rock/alternative. They play older stuff too from the 90's and such.
