Welcome Home From Iraq Cruise/Meet (March ARB) When: Sunday 20 April (I know, short notice!) 10:30am
Why: Because RedHotTransAm is getting back from Iraq!
What: F and Y Bodies, GTOs, and any American Muscle!
Here is the deal gentlemen, I would like as many people as possible. We are planning on catching the busses as they leave March ARB and following the busses down to Camp Pendleton. I need someone who is familiar with the area to tell me a good place that is near March with good access to the 215/15 so we can jump on the road with the busses. I was hoping to escort them. I know this is short notice, but it happens this way sometimes. Please call your friends and let them know. Check your PMs for my number, I will be sending out mass ones here in a bit.

If you are running a little late, it is cool, I am guessing that they will take a bit to load the buses.

or i would go... My bro is in the Marines and is fixing to be stationed back @ Pendleton again... Will be good to have him close to home again...

Is the bus making stops along the way, or straight from one base to another. And would we be going onto the base with them when they arive, or does the escort end @ that point?
Just curious so I know what to tell my guys, I might be able to get some others in on this.

The bus will not be making any stops. This is going to be a surprise for RedHotTransAm. From talking to Brynnda, there will be no guards at March ARB (the exit is Cactus, and it is clearly labled as March ARB exit) and we will roll right onto the base and park while we wait for word. There is a parking lot right there by the intersection of Graeber and Elsworth. We would just follow the buses from there till they get off, and we will just cruise straight to the Hooters on the 78. I will send you a PM.

i just gotta say this - this guy is serving our country, wouldnt you like to come home to a welcome like this? it might be short notice but lets give this guy a proper welcome home, hes not doing it agian next month, cancel your sunday plans and lets do this

Not totally sure what route the busses will be taking back. If Erick or someone has your number, we will call you on the way back. We are going to stop at Hooters on the 78 on the way back for food though.
