Default SOM Cam Swap Dyno #'s

Well, I got it tuned today over at STD and figuring that a stock LS1 puts down 325 or so stock.

I put an Isky 233/236 .595/.592 114+4LSA

And the final numbers are 375Rwhp and 354Tq

Nice. Now to work on the other issues.

Then throw in the 150 shot (got it already)

Other Mods are just CAI, Edelbrock shorties (temp solution), Gutted Cats, ORY and Magnaflow catback (that affect performance)

Also added Double roller timing chain, Hardened Pushrods and 918 springs.

Now granted I can't get Gilberts numbers with just headers and no tune, but I did OK Haha

I have a 224/230 in BBB on a 112 so I wanted to try something different.

I actually still prefer the BBB, could be because it is a torque monster and will snap your neck back at the blip of the throttle and just kinda feels faster but it has the power down low in the RPM's where I use it most in DD.

Also the sound too, BBB just sounds great. I figure LT's for SOM will make a big difference, I think the gutted cats cause the exhaust to resonate and kills the exhaust note. But I have the Y pipe with dual cutouts ready when I get the LT's so we will see.

The bigger cam can get grumpy if the RMPs drop to much, gets jerky if you leave it in gear and go down to 1300RPM.
Idle still needs some work.

349 was the baseline untuned with the cam in.

I have the sheet but I would have to scan it I am waiting for the PFD file to be emailed instead.

I know what you mean, felt the same way when I had a 1994 Z with cam and a 1998 LS1...
