Should I buy 98 SGM Trans Am
Well I sold my WS6 a few weeks ago because the payment was to big for my Air force paycheck I thought I was gonna get an old firebird but im being drawn back to the LS1.
I dont want to spend over 6k and would prefer A4 after dealing with all the issues of the M6.
Anyways I found a 1998 Sport Gold Metallic Trans Am for 5,500. It looks really clean, has new tires, automatic, 111K.
Sound like a good deal? Im really looking for a Artic white TA with Tan interior though think I should wait?
I dont want to spend over 6k and would prefer A4 after dealing with all the issues of the M6.

SGM is pretty awesome color. You probably wont see another one on the road unless you go to a meet.
However, dont settle on the color. If you want white with tan, then wait for it. Im paying for that mistake with my Formula.

I think im going to wait for a white one. Theres no big rush except for that i feel like a loser driving around in a 93 Civic. lol

Well I make about 1300 after taxes im E-3.
My payment was 276 plus 110 for insurance is 386 for just payment insurance not including gas and maitnence.
Then my personal loan payment 100+ cell phone 65+ DD insuracne 50 so put that all together im over oh and credit card.
So thats about 650 in bills dosent leave much to play with or mod the car.
Oh and theres no way your makin bank not unless your married and bakin the BAH or you dont have a girlfriend.

Trust me on this one buddy, you would rather deal with M6 ISSUES than A4 Issues!!! LMAO. A4's go out about every 2 years it seems for me. I have 3 Fbodies. My M6 has almost 800 hp and I have had NO Major problems with it, except replacing the clutch. My A4 is 1700 for the Tranny and 725 for the stall. Everytime the tranny goes out. DONT GET AN A4, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

DD insurance is Daily driver LOL.
Anyways I think I found my car its a 1998 NBM Trans Am has OEM WS6 hood, Vette Zr1s, SLP LM1, SLP Lid, TB spacer which I dont even know if it does anything, and a "super sucker" as he called it its a plastic air duct that runs to the underneath of the car. It only has 77K with 64K on engine and trans only flaws are two small paint spots. Also has a banging stereo two kenwood 12's with nice amp and deck.
His lowest price is 7500 good deal? BTW A4

I wasn't sure about gold either when i first got mine but i got to tell you when the sun hits it right after you have detailed it it is one of the best looking colors GM did. And if the ta is a Ws6 that runs that number down to 60 give or take a few.

m6 for the win lol i like the sgm its also rare as hell i have only seen them on the internet but if its not what you want wait for what you want and also just my opionion if your last car was m6 and you go to a4 you might get a little bored with it and a4s have waaay more problems then m6's unless you cant drive for **** and fry your clutch once a month lol
