Stock 2000 WS6- 37k original miles- Whats it worth?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to help a friend sell his 2000 WS6, but we're not too sure what its worth. Its very clean aside from a few minor scrapes, no rust etc.
Here are the full specs on it:
2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6
ONLY 37,000 original miles!
6-speed manual
T-Top
Ram-Air Hood
Performance Package/Handling Package
320hp LS1 Engine
17” chrome wheels
Monsoon Sound System
Newer Tires (3k miles)
Black Leather interior
Well-Maintained
Always run on 93 Octane Gas
Never been raced/Taken to the track
You can see more photos at (http://s1131.photobucket.com/albums/...%20For%20Sale/)
Please help us find a fair price that will sell the car, but not cause him to lose money. Thanks a lot for any advice!

He wanted to start at $17k but its been on for a couple days and not sparked any (Literally zero) interest. No emails, calls, etc. What would you think we should ask for it? Think 16k would spark more interest?

Awesome man, Thank you so much for the advice and (extremely) quick response. I'll post back in another week or so to update. Thanks again!

I'm not sure where you guys are getting such high figures from but 'high retail' is closer to $15,000 for that car. It sure looks nice but I'll be surprised if you get any bites in that atmosphere. That price is dealer territory, and too high.

Serious? I was thinking more like $12-15k; It's not low enough to be a collector car and the only thing it really has going for it is being a WS6 and that's assuming door panels and dash aren't cracked, it's never been wrecked, has a clean title, etc.
It also is highly dependent on the local market though someone might drive/fly to pick it up if they can't find one local to them.

It is a 2-owner car, never been wrecked. (I have a clean carfax to show) I'm hearing a lot of conflicting thoughts here. Anywhere from 12k-18k. Anything below probably about $16k is too low, and he would probably rather keep the car. I'll try it for a couple weeks in the $16k range and see what happens. Thanks again everybody!

i got $17k for my mint silver 2000 m6 SS with 13000 miles on it,pictured below............back in early 07.
i would say with this economy.....$14k and you still might have to wait for a buyer to come along at that price....
good luck!
