Just bought a SS
I just wanted to see what everyone thinks its worth. Its a 1998 Camaro SS, bone stock, red on charcoal, 61,000 miles, M6, clean title, very clean inside and out one owner, tires are brand new, one very small crack about the size of a quarter on the hood. Other than that there are no issues with the body. Let me know what you think.

Agree with $8k. The book price is worthless. I paid $9k for mine 2 months ago. Its a 99 SS with 62k miles and flawless plus about $7k in mods (intake, cam, full exhaust, full suspension, LS7 clutch, gears, etc, 376rwhp). For a completly stock one I personally would have been hard pressed to pay $8k. There's just better deals out there, even on this board.

Picked up my 2000 SS M6 with SLP options for $6700..100k miles original owner..full Koni Double Adjustable suspension etc.
It's a 98 so its one of the less desired. Grey interior, one year only PCM and a few other things.
But obviously you bought it so it was worth that much to you, whatever you paid.

KBB Private Party Good Value is actually $8600 - maybe you're looking at retail? Nada puts it's between $7500 and $8500 as well
Also - it's a 98 which decreases it's value and while it's decently low mileage for it's age, it's not a collector car and it (in TX atleast) is a pretty common car - I wouldn't touch it for more than $8k - just my opinion
