Its at a local mom and pop shop.
Its a red 99 SS. Ttop 6 speed. grey leather. 96k on the odometer.
The problems;
some nickel sized chips in the hood and spoiler. Aftermarket ricer tail lights...and one is cracked. Aftermarket halo headlights. Driver window motor is shot. Needs new front tires, minor curb rash on the stock rims. Window switch is cracked and missing the locking tab so it wont stay in place. The shifter **** spins like its stripped. The muffler has about a softball sized dent in it, like they ran something over. The stock intake manifold is painted (badly) red to try and match the car, along with the plastic shroud that holds the radiatior. A minor exhaust leak sounds and smells like its comming from the pass side manifold.
Other than that, just standard things like leather ware on the driver seat and other things you would expect on a 9 year old car.
The car still pulls hard and shifts good, although I think the posi may be worn out. Id have to get it on stands to find out.
But anyways, they told me they originally listed it for 10.5k, but said they want 9k just to get rid of it. What do you think the car is worth, or how much would it be to fix the listed problems? I thought abot 7k would be reasonable. Is that too high?

I bought a 99 ss about 6 mnths ago. Great shape, good tires, leather good, weatherstripping good, strong, no smoke for 7800 with 115k miles m6. Just something to compare to. People comment on how clean it is and how good of a deal it was.

sounds like some newbie kid owned it probably didn't know how to drive it either and fucked it up. I would stay away from that pile and look for a clean one that doesn't have all those problems
