Smile how small is the 315 Sumitomo compared to others and will it look right on 10.5 TTM?

I heard that the Sumitomos 315 are the smallest of all the tires which steers me away but im broke so i need a cheaper tire. My question is: is the Sumitomo really that small of a 315 in comparison with others??

also i saw a thread a while back with a blue SS that had TTMs with 315 Sumitomos and it didnt look right at all.. like the bead of the rim didnt match up with the tire and im paranoid this might happen! why does it?

thanks guys
summer

Summer my bud has these sumo's in a 315/17 and they ARE small! Don't look right. Seems to be a good tire for the $$ tho!

Agreed that the 315 Nitto is the narrowest. IMO, I'd stay away from Sumi's. It's like driving on glass....no traction what so ever.

I have the exact rims with the same tires . No rubbing or anything but i dont drag with them there just daily drivers and are not good for traction. The price is def right . Im looking to trade my ttms though for something diffrent . I dont keep rims very long lol.

I had the 315's Sumitomos on 10.5's. They looked great. I thought they were the perfect width. BUT.... they may be the worst tires I've ever bought. Like everyone else on here says. No traction. They wouldnt be worth it at half what I paid for them. JMO

Ya..... I never liked the sumis.....never had any luck with Nitto. But the BFG or Goodyear 315s are pretty nicem but be prepared to PAY for them. Then again not much you can do for traction at 380+whp as far as street tires go.LOL

Quick Reply: how small is the 315 Sumitomo compared to others and will it look right on 10.5 TTM?
