Default Jegs or Summit

I've been searching for the past hour and I haven't found my answer. I'm looking to buy new summer wheels for my car, and I like the looks of slicks and skinnies on the street. These wheels would see time from april-october and then they will be taken off for winter. This car would be a DD and sees about 150-250 miles a week. I know the rear wheels wouldn't be a problem, but can the front 15x4s handle that driving. On JEGS website, it says that the fronts aren't for street use, but summit's website says nothing. I know a bunch of guys that use slicks and skinnies on the street, but their cars aren't DDs. I'd run 15x4s up front and 15x10s on a 6.5bs out back. Also, Which brand would you go with, and which brakes would need to be ground?

I wouldn't try it. Had a buddy do it and he took them back off within a week. Handling blows with that thin of a wheel up front. and I'm talking about normal driving handling.

I did it for awhile, and screw handling, just creep around everywhere As far as wheels, I had prostars on the front and rear and they did fine, front tires were something from a tire shop(not ET fronts or anything like that)

yes but if your on a curvy highway you might feel a little tire flex in the corner. be sure to go the speed limit or 5 under if its a curvy road

Daily driving with bigs and littles isn't bad dude. You just can't drive your car like it's a Porsche (Which you shouldn't do anyways! It's a T/A). Just take it easy through the curves. I daily my car, and I've got prostars all around.

The Summit wheels and Jegs wheels are a cast aluminum. Way heavier than Prostars. I would definitely say they would be strong enough because of the extra amount of material that's there. That being said I daily drove Prostars for a while and I even live down a dirt road. They held up fine.
