The wheels were bad off. The clear had failed and had to be stripped off the centers. I had the centers brushed. The lips were polished and everything clear cerakoted.
Did you have the work done locally? I'm curious what shops work on Fikse rims while taking care of them in the Houston area. Been thinking about options for mine, and what direction I might go with them.
Was thinking about selling my Fikse FM5's. Anybody know what they're worth?
Typically one sees them on here for $2000-2500 for rims only, or rims with dead tires, or in the $3k neighborhood for sets with good tires. If you create a separate for sale post, I wouldn't mind receiving a PM about them to see more pics/condition.
