Default cleaning inside of wheels

what do you guys use to do this? mine desperately need it

A jack, tire iron and muscle. Jack up, dismount, clean, mount, lower.

i know that much.. car wash soap won't take off the dirt that is on them though

get some wheel cleaner and a scrub brush. You can get both at Advance Auto, Walmart, and such.

I yank the wheels after about every third car wash to clean the insides of the wheels. Soap and water will work as long as you wash them somewhat regularly.

I think eagle one makes an etching cleaner if ya wanna get real violent on them! i wouldnt get it on paint or anything polished though. i believe it has acid in it. i used that to completely clean a set of polished aluminum truck wheels back to new, then had to polish them again.

better go with the simple green. and yes of course make sure you dilute it bc that stuff is powerful. that's just the regular kind. They do make it stronger! I need to do that soon as well.

I take mine off and wax them (front and inside) after I clean them real well. It seems to help the brake dust come off a little easier. Of course, running ceramic pads would cut down on a lot of the 'dirt'
