something different...
has this been done before? if so i have not seen it.
replaced my 16x8's with the C5 wagon wheels, sprayed by me with black epoxy for appliances. came out ok i think...
got the rims practically free, 295's on the rear barely fit, chrome 16x8 set for sale!
chrome lug nuts, need to do something about the center cap, im not using the corvette ones, anyone know a good custom site?

nothing really out there anymore that's "different" because mostly everything's been done. car does look good though with the wagon wheels on it. i must say though, why go custom center cap? that'll be real expensive. why not just paint the center caps and find a nice sticker or something to go over them?

thanks all, the rears have 5/8 spacers, and i had to get the special lug nuts with the extended neck to grab the threads on the studs, not leaving me room on the rears for the center caps to fit because it covers the studs, plus they look cheap as hell i think, carbon fiber with 10 fake bolts, and the corvette logo, id rather do something different, or something thats easier than smoothing the centers out. anyone seen this before? or i could trim the center caps for them to simply be round, and then spray them as well... id like to get rid of the spacers once i do some dremel-ing under there

I have always been told that 5/16 (which is just over 1/4") is as big a spacer you should use. 5/8" thick is greatly increasing the Leverage on your studs and the chance of breaking them. Just a word of caution, I would hate to hear that something bad happens!

had mine painted black for over 3 years now. a lot of people arent fans of the rims but these 17/18" rims are lighter than the chrome 16/17" ta/ws6 rims.
i now have the center caps painted too
