How is the ride with 315's out back? I'm at stock height but do have suspension mods. I'm thinking of going 275-40-17 in front and 315-35-17 rear.

I'm on 315 nitto 555's with stock suspension, they handle fine and you feel a better grip to the road when its dry, even though i only have these mods (look in sig) i still spin these fat *** tires like nothing

I have 315/35/17 nitto 555r's with torq thrust m's and the ride quality is great. This is a car with stock suspension except for adj panhard bar. I also have subframe connectors and a strut tower brace. Haven't hit it from a dig yet but from a low roll they hook great.

My Camaro rode great on my 315 Nitto's. I had LCA's, PHB, and LCA relocation brackets. But, all other suspension was stock.

Im running a set of 315/35 Nitto 555s on my widened 00 WS.6 wheels, and love them. I just recently installed a UMI tunnel mount torque arm, Poly/Rod LCAs, and a poly trans mount, but once i get everything dialed in, im going to see what kind of fun i can have on these tires.

You will notice a slightly rougher ride and a quicker turn in when you switch from your stock wheels and tires to the wider lower profile 275/40/17 & 315/35/17 tires on 9.5 inch & 12 inch wide 17 inch wheels...but they handle and look so much kooler than the stockers it is no contest...I have used sumitomo, (they are junk and have poor traction and wear very fast) michelin, yokohama, b f goodrich, and goodyears...I prefer the goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires to all the others...they stick real well when it is dry and they are almost impossible to hydroplane a great all weather hi performance tire .. they are also the widest of the 315s that I have used...

Well, I was about to purchase a wheel/tire package from a forum vendor but it looks like they use Sumitomo HTR for the 315's.

Call them and Im sure they will order whatever 315 you want. They probably use that as a first option as its only like $99 a tire. And other 315's are much more expensive.

You cant beat the look in my opinion, they just look mean from the rear. Just make sure you use a wide enough rim. I have seen two f-cars in the past couple weeks with 315s on 9 inch wheels and i cant even believe they stay on the rim not to mention how stupid it looks..
