anybody have 18X10.5 in the front???
i know it's gonna rub, but i have a 98 Z28, and i want the OE Wheels deep dish C5's in matte black with rivets, and they only offer the 18X10.5's in that wheel, and i'm doing the CTS-V brakes up front. soooo i have to run an 18 up there.
just looking to see if anybody has run something that rediculously wide up front, maybe with like a 275/35/18???
i'm planning on a 315/35/18 in the rear, but before i go out and order the wheels, i wanted to see if anybody had done it yet.
also my car is pretty low! i don't drive it too often, but i want to be able to turn a little bit!

You can easily run 315s up front with the wheels you're getting. I've done it without a problem. In fact, I think it's easier to fit the wheel front then the rear.
You might want to check and make sure the CTS-V brakes will clear the spokes on the wheels you're looking at.
Not going to go any further then this, but you should not run a 335 on a 10.5" wheel. The largest tire you should run is a 315. I don't care what some people have said they've done. There are also people that have lived after being struck by lighting, so does that mean you'd go ahead and get struck by lighting? I doubt it.

Just so you know: You probably wont be able to fit the CTS-V brakes in there running that tire, You usually have to use a spacer and longer studs to fit those tires and wheels up there (im running 18x10.5 with 295 tire and 3/16" spacers). The spokes wont clear the caliper. If you want to run the cts-v brakes you have to run a 9.5" wheel and a 1/2" spacer or more usually.
Putting that big of a spacer on a 18x10.5 up front will make it stick out past the fender.

If you check out the https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...ur-images.html thread you will see 3 or 4 forum members that are running 18x10.5 on all 4 corners.

as another guy pointed out, do you know if the deep dish 18X10.5 C5 wheels will clear the CTS-V calipers??
also, how is availability on the matte black / stainless lip with rivets in 18X10.5's????

275/35/18 Yokohamas on 10.5" wide C5 Z06 replicas with 56 mm backspacing. Daily driver, sun/rain/snow (although I switch to the factory 16's for snow).
The front tires touch the wheel well liner at full lock but once the little mold/injection thingies wore off they stopped making noise on sharp turns.
The right rear (or was it the left?) lightly brushed the inner side twice, so I tapped it in a touch at the contact point.
The car is low, and the tires do not touch even down to the stops over a bump.
+1 on the CTS-V caliper clearance problem - I don't think any deep dish wheel is compatible with those calipers. I *think* those calipers will fit behind my wheels without spacers, as I have 1 3/8" from the caliper to the inside of the spokes. No spacers for me, thanks.
I think it would be odd to run wider tires on the back using the same width wheels as the front, and 315s will be a tight fit - and being more than 4% taller might trip up the ABS.
